Information about the project
  • The AVA TECH team delivered lighting solutions for two BIO COMPANY stores in Falkensee, Germany, with areas of 785 sqm and 539 sqm. The goal was to modernise the lighting system while maintaining the brand’s visual identity and meeting the functional requirements of the retail spaces, including fresh zones.
Tasks
  • Designing a lighting system that reflects the BIO COMPANY brand philosophy and highlights the quality of organic products.
  • Avoiding glare from fixtures while maintaining shopper comfort.
  • Integrating decorative luminaires as part of the interior design.
  • Replacing the lighting in each store overnight — without operational downtime.
Completed work
  • A lighting design project was developed, taking into account the functional zoning of the space.
  • AVA TECH SPOT Mio and SPOT Tor luminaires were used for accent lighting.
  • For general lighting, AVA TECH LINE Plano 3.0 and LINE Fastline were installed.
  • Decorative lighting elements were integrated: AVA TECH LINE Astra S and SARABIA Hangeleuchte Bistro.
  • All installation works were completed in an ultra-short timeframe – AVA TECH ensured fast dismantling and installation, allowing the stores to operate without interruption during the lighting upgrade.
Result
  • The stores received modern, efficient lighting that harmoniously combines functionality and atmosphere.
  • An average illumination level of 800–1000 lux was achieved across the shelving areas.
  • Proper lighting improved the visual appeal of the products, helping to drive sales.
  • The luminaires are glare-free, ensuring a comfortable experience for both customers and staff.
  • Decorative elements enhanced the brand’s aesthetic appeal and made the retail space more inviting.
