Comfy
COMFY is the largest Ukrainian chain of home appliance and electronics stores, founded in 2005. Today, the brand brings together more than 100 stores in 52 cities across Ukraine and develops an omnichannel format, where the online store comfy.ua and physical retail locations operate as one integrated ecosystem. The COMFY assortment includes home appliances, electronics, gadgets, accessories, as well as products for home and leisure. For this type of retail format, lighting must not only support comfortable navigation across the sales floor, but also help present different product categories correctly: from large household appliances to small electronics and accessories.
The 951 sq.m sales floor required a comprehensive selection of lighting equipment in accordance with the layout scheme provided by the client.
AVA TECH did not develop the lighting project from scratch: the team worked with the client’s existing layout scheme and selected the most suitable luminaires for the specified planning, functional zones and technical requirements of the store.
All luminaires used in the project have a colour temperature of 4000K and a colour rendering index of CRI 80.
• Select luminaires in accordance with the placement scheme provided by the client.
• Ensure uniform general lighting for the sales floor without visually overloading the space.
• Organise accent lighting to highlight product zones and key displays.
• Integrate decorative lighting elements on the second floor in the form of rectangular structures.
• Provide emergency lighting according to the functional requirements of the facility.
• Selected luminaires based on the client’s existing placement scheme.
• Used SPOT Chill track luminaires with 60° and 36° beam angles for accent lighting.
• Applied suspended Komo trunking luminaires in lengths of 1700 mm, 2200 mm, 3100 mm and 3400 mm for the general lighting of the sales floor.
• Created decorative rectangular lighting structures on the second floor using Komo trunking luminaires.
• Used Komo 600 mm luminaires with built-in batteries for emergency lighting.
• Ensured a consistent colour temperature of 4000K throughout the space for a cohesive visual perception of the store.
• Created a cohesive lighting environment for a large 951 m² sales floor.
• General lighting provides comfortable navigation and uniform visibility across the retail space.
• Accent luminaires help highlight product zones and create the right focus of customer attention.
